[ Meet the team ]

The face behind the Work

Jason is the proud great-grandson of Wayne, who started Donahue’s furniture store back in 1942. Growing up around top-notch furniture and hardware, he learned the importance of craftsmanship from his family—especially his dad, also named Wayne. This early exposure sparked Jason’s love for working with materials and creating designs that stand out.

Though Jason briefly tried his hand at flooring and other careers, he eventually realized his true passion was in building custom, high-quality furniture that’s anything but ordinary. He loves working with clients to bring their ideas to life, often combining raw wood with concrete or adding epoxy and integrated lighting to make each piece truly unique.

His work has caught the attention of interior design shops, which inspired him to reopen his own furniture shop under the Donahue name. Jason’s goal is to become the go-to spot for custom furniture and hardware that’s built with care and pride, just like his family has always done.

When he’s not in the shop, you’ll find Jason lifting weights at the local gym or unwinding by the water cooler. He’s a down-to-earth guy who’s always happy to chat and help make your furniture dreams a reality!
